Billy and the Vet

Today, perhaps as you are reading this even, Billy is having surgery.

We learned yesterday that Billy has a stone in his bladder; we had been taking him to the Vet because the Vet initially thought Billy had a UTI.

Thursday was two weeks since his first visit and while he was somewhat better, we discovered he was still experiencing a little bleeding.

So the Vet took x-rays and found the stone.

During all this, he hasn’t shown any signs of being in pain so we were caught off guard somewhat.

P.S. It’s a one-day surgery so Billy will be home Friday night.

If you joined our "Google Friend" link a while ago and notice it is now no longer here, you may not have heard that Google has apparently decided to not support blogs that are not in the "blogger" family--like blogspot.

This, unfortunately, includes "The Boys" and Kittens 'n Things, as our blog is hosted through our own hosting. We are hopeful Google will at some point provide a new Friend link we can use for you, our visitors.

In the meantime, we'll continue to look for alternatives.
