The other day, I posted a video from ICanHasCheezburger of a kitty getting a drink from a bathroom sink; at the same time, he was also taking a mini-bath.

It reminded me a bit of Mikey.

Although Mikey does not get into the bathroom sink to get a drink, he does hop into the tub and sit under the faucet until you notice him and turn on the water.

Actually, wherever he is, if Mikey happens to see you going upstairs, he’ll immediately make a bee-line for the stairs, race up the stairs ahead of you, and jump into the tub!

Now, if you go into the bedroom instead of the bathroom, you can hear him making little “come pay attention to me” noises trying to get your attention so you’ll go into the bathroom and turn on the tub faucet for him.

And if by some chance you don’t get the water turned on just right, he will chatter about it until he’s satisfied with way you’ve got the water stream coming out of the faucet.

P.S. Seriously considering getting one of those drinking fountains for cats, although I don’t think he’d be able to get under it!
