“Cold” Weather Is Not for Cats!
Monday, January 4th, 2010Friday night, our temperature dropped to 23 degrees Fahrenheit BELOW zero.
Saturday night, our temperature again dropped BELOW zero — to -19 degrees Fahrenheit
Who knows what the wind chill
was…after it gets so cold, it sometimes doesn’t seem to matter!
“The Boys” wanted me to publish an S-O-S for all their little “furrrrr friends,” in cold and snowy and windy parts of the country…with this message:
“If your kitty (or dog, we likes them, too) has to be outside in the cold for any length of time, please, please make sure they have shelter.
And please make sure their drinking water does not freeze.”
End public service announcement…
Of course, if all the kitties (and doggies) that are outside most or all of the time can come inside when it gets so cold, “The Boys” would be willing to give you all some of their treats!
Yours in keeping kitty warm and dry,

P.S. And if you missed yesterday’s post about the Kitty Window Sill Perch, take a look now. The Perch would be just the ticket for “warming” any “cool cat” in this weather.
