Trip to the Pet Store
July 16th, 2010Author: Karen McGreeveyToday, I went to the pet store to get some much needed cat food. I mean, we were down to 2 cans…both in the same flavor…and boy
was I getting dirty looks!
I got to the store a little later than I usually do (it was about 10:30 a.m.), and the store was setting up a “pen-type” enclosure so the kitties could get out of their cages and run around a bit.
What fun!
One of the kitties was rolling around on the floor, like she was scratching her back. Snowflake used to do that in the dirt! And when she came in she was no longer white! (Occasionally…and I do mean occasionally…we would let her outside on the driveway…under the strictest of supervision!…and that’s when she got dirty.)

Awwww – Snowflake sounds adorable!! That’s the thing I’m discovering about Charlie – it’s a battle to keep his fur pristine when he loves rolling around in dirt! LOL!

That’s nice that they do that. I bet they love it. That kitty looks like the ygot caught with their paw in the cookie jar. HAve a great weekend.
Daddy Cat likes to roll in dirt (evidence occasionally posted on my blog!), Mommy Cat likes to roll and stretch in the grass and on the sidewalk to scratch her back…My girls like to roll and stretch with Calle and Sukki lying around that way=on their backs with their tummies in the air, I love it, it’s so cute!…Happy weekend Karen and the boys, stay cool friends.

It is great that they let the kitties out to play – of course if I was there at the time we would end up with both food and a new cat at the house!
